Hanging panels are painted in a range of sizes onto handmade glass. I use a variety of glass from translucent Antique Cathedral glass with tiny bubbles and swirls to opaque glass with colours streaked through it, almost a landscape in itself. Each piece of glass is hand cut and I often incorporate tree shapes or root lines to create interesting, irregular pieces. The tales are painted in enamel glass paint and etched in detail. The enamel takes several days to cure to a hard finish and then the edges are carefully copper foiled. Thick copper wire is used to hang these pieces, which look incredibly effective with sun light streaming through the glass.
